We propose you cycling holidays towards the Pointe du Raz, the “end of the world”. Bike tour across the Cornouaille land and along the Atlantic coast, from Qimper in Finistère!
Wild and authentic, this land of Brittany opens its large natural spaces to you, to discover popular traditions. Cradled by the sea and the light, this breton land is a small paradise for artists, athletes and all lovers of beauty.

Staring from Quimper, your cycling holiday takes you first Bay of Douarnenez via one of the most charming villages in Brittany: Locronan, a city of granite rock. A beautiful panorama is offered here then a beautiful descent to your charming hotel located by the sea. Here you enjoy a little calm, like a sailor returning to port, to relax from your first efforts.
The next day, Cycling time to the “Pointe du Raz”. Attention, amazing show! Labeled “Grand Site de France”, the Pointe du Raz is a masterpiece of nature. Between waves and steep rocks, you will be fascinated by the wild beauty of this place, western end of the country.

Here, you will feel like at the end of the world … A very special atmosphere awaits you. You have to leave the bikes and walk a little to reach this end of the world. The coast, sheared by the wind and the incessant rhythm of the tides offers you a spectacular scenic view. And if it’s not “bad weather” the bass fishermen will dancie on the waves that form between the pointe du Raz and the Ile de Sein.
Your bike trip continues along the wild coast and beaches and then returns to the inland of the country. You will ride through the capital of the “Pays Bigouden”, Pont L’Abbé”, before cycling along the Odet river and ending in Quimper.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Quimper

Arrival in your hotel at the end of the afternoon.
Tale time to visit this mythical town of Brittany and its three old center districts. Gourmet city with lively and shopping streets, cultural capital of Brittany which won the Grand Prix National for Flowers!
Overnight in Quimper.

Day 2: From Quimper to Douarnenez - 43 km

You leave Quimper on a cycle path, on an old railway line which joins Douardenez, the city with three ports !. You gain height over its bay to reach one of the most impressive and typical villages of Brittany: Locronan.
The port of Douardenez and its bay await you for the night.

Day 3 - From Douarnenez to Plogoff - 40 km

You cross the port of Douarnenez then ride along its bay to reach the "Pointe du Van" and discover the "Baie des Trépassés". An atmosphere of "end of the world" awaits you as well as one of the most beautiful sunsets in Brittany.

Day 4: From Plogoff to Pouldreuzic - 45 km

After a few kilometers, leave your bikes and walk the path that reach the "Pointe du Raz". Beautiful walk and amazing show of the waves and the rocks falling down the ocean! Then return to your bikes and after a nice ride along the Audierne bay, you reach the port d'Audierne. You cycle on the route called "La Route du Vent Solaire" until de village of Pouldreuzic.

Day 5: From Pouldreuzic to Quimper - 45 km

You slowly leave the coastline towards Quimper, capital of Cornouaille land. Bike journey across the bucolic countryside until the historic town of Pont-L'abbé nestled at the end of the estuary. Then you reach an old railway line and follow now a beautiful greenway that follows the banks of the Odet river until Quimper, the Breton capital of Earthenware, city of Art and History.

Day 6: Departure

End of stay after breakfast.
