Burgundy is home to some of the best known wines in the world. The landscape is slightly hilly and very picturesque, dotted with medieval villages and historic towns. Some say that Burgundy is a little bit like Provence without the crowds. You will start your tour in Dijon, capital of the Ducs of Burgundy (also famous for its mustard). Then you will contine through Beaune, called the wine capital of Burgundy, and venture out from there more to the South. Burgundy cuisine is justly famous – snails, Charolais beef, Bress chicken and wonderful cheeses. The region of Burgundy won’t have any secrets for you!
