Tour description

Ideal base for exploring the mountain both means of locomotion Trapper: dog sledding and snowshoeing. You will be amazed by the charm of sled dogs and you try your hand at dogsledding on track before going off track. After a night “trapper” in a log cabin heated with a wood stove or a Mongolian yurt and a good meal, you will continue your little raid a fun trail snowshoeing and orienteering. For the more adventurous, can spend the night in an igloo … after building, of course!

Itinerary

Day 1 : Welcome at the camp base of sled dogs.

Walk in Snowshoes
After the welcome and the discovery of the base sled dog , you will start your day by strolling "Discovery" Snowshoe . Discovery and comments on the flora and fauna of this part of the Pyrenees necessary to become a true " Trapper"
In the evening you will heal " Husky " and " Alaskans " before spending a convivial evening in a Mongolian Yurt or Tipi heated with a wood stove , lost in the mountains . You can enjoy a good meal " Trapper" well deserved. The more adventurous can naturally sleep in their own Igloo !

Day 2 : Introduction to dogsledding Husky

In the morning, we offer learning driving a cart pulled by huskies , more fun activity than a ride in the sleigh in which everyone can get involved at their own pace , guided by a professional of activity . After a short theoretical part on the basis of conduct, you go with your guide , leading everyone your "pack" . Activity within the reach of anyone practicing a sport regularly. Duration: about 3:00 .
Afternoon : Orienteering : After an introduction to the technical guidance in winter , you will go in search of tags on the trail of a trapper. The advantage of this half day is also evolving off-piste , off marked trails , interpreting the landscape and in total freedom.
You will end this magical hike to 17h , head full of memories and a heavy heart having to leave your faithful four-legged companions .
